I have been involved in the Internet Business and Information Technology sectors for more than 18 years, working closely with internal and external consultants, developers and project managers, to provide strategic, technical and commercial expertise to large-scale and ambitious projects.I am considered a high-energy developer with a reputation for integrity and quality. I am team oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills and am adaptable and self-motivated. I have a wide skill-set that enables me to work on projects from initial concepts through to final implementation.In a hybrid capacity, my primary focus is on bridging the gap between commerce and technology by representing technology to the business and business to technology and facilitating the process, concept to delivery.For the past 5 years I've been working for Mukuru (one of Africa's biggest Fin-tech companies) designing and building scalable solutions to service there global clients and integrating there systems with global partners around the world. The latest project I'm involved in we're designing and building a wallet/ledger system to make our clients more financially free by giving them cash cards and electronic money services, through multiple platforms and technologies like USSD, mobi, WhatsApp etc.Prior to working for Mukuru, I've been part of a highly qualified and dynamic team conceptualizing, designing and developing the full infrastructure for a scalable secure encrypted communication system using the Agile SDLC methodology. The stack integrates the encrypted communications and attachment file storing for all the various mobile platforms (Android, iOS, Windows and Blackberry) as well as Desktop and Web applications. As the initial member of the team I developed the core building blocks the system was build upon. The stack also integrates different user interfaces namely a User Management System, Billing System and an Enterprise Communication System.Positions held include IT Manager, Technical Team Lead, Head of development, Senior PHP Developer.
