What's shaking y'all?!?! I am a Career Coach with over four years of experience working in higher education. I love mentoring students to get the most out of the college experience to successfully navigate life after graduation. Over the past four years, I have worked in various capacities in Higher Education including residence life and housing, academic advising, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and career design coaching. I have facilitated numerous programs and workshops, planned and implemented training, and designed ally development and career design curricula. I am extremely blessed to be able to help students use college to build meaningful lives after graduation. As a career coach, I leverage principles of existentialism to help students identify goals relative to their interests, values, and skills, to identify meaningful opportunities during and after college. I am also passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion; I regularly seek out ways to use my role to enhance equity and inclusion. Throughout my career, I have gotten to do some amazing things:As a Career Coach and Educator at Cortland, I created and implemented career design programming to support underrepresented students at a predominantly white campus.
