Provide individual and group career coaching appointments to campus and campus community members. Conduct presentations to campus and local community on career development and teacher certification topics.Contribute to daily delivery of Career Services functions and activities including resume, cover letter, and graduate school statement reviews, mock interviews, and job search coaching.Serve as an office contact for teacher certification advisement, support, and outreach for campus and local community including, but not limited to, students, alumni, and faculty.Coordinate the annual first destination survey including: Collaborate with Associate Director to finalize class of 2020 survey including analyzing data and creating publication.Receive training in developing processes for collecting and analyzing data from the class of 2021 to create report.Communicate with internal and external audiences on FDS data requests and communications. Monitor local and national trends in first destination standards and protocols. -Serve as primary advisor and success coach for working caseload of 150 students-Prepare students for their transition to the college, and integrate new students into the intellectual, cultural, and social life of the University-Assist in pre-enrollment, admissions, orientation, campus, and career activities reinforcing the importance of a collective, integrated college experience geared toward academic and career success-Provide academic advisement to each student, specifically through the progression of the initial registration upon acceptance to major/degree selection as it pertains to career interests and pursuits-Interpret career assessment instruments and provide career resources/advisement, developing a timely career track congruent with students' academic pursuits-Review financial aid information and assist students with understanding financial aid procedures-Create and implement a comprehensive diversity, equity and inclusion student life plan for the entire University -Develop, facilitate and coordinate ally development program workshops, such as Safe Zone and Racial Justice and Advocacy trainings-Establish new cultural student organizations for marginalized student groups on campus. -Conduct diversity, equity and inclusion training for student leaders on campus. -Provide leadership to LIU Cares, the University-wide service initiative by creating service-learning opportunities on-campus and in the community.
