Autonomous teaching of the OCNG 251 class The Blue Planet - Our Oceans (Introduction to Oceanography).Responsibilities include: 1. Creating a syllabus outlining the course2. Building and delivering lectures covering all major topics in oceanography throughout the semester3. Developing and assigning class homework4. Creating, administering, and grading exams throughout the semester5. Assisting students with understanding complicated class material, working on homework assignments, and preparing for exams.

Analysis of a wide variety of oceanographic, atmospheric, cryospheric and model-based data types to draw robust and actionable results.

Performing collaborative and individual research in Antarctic physical oceanography. Big data processing including remote sensing data and statistical methods in MATLAB and R languages. Presenting previous and ongoing research in seminar series and at other meetings.

TA instructor for the following labs within the former College of Geosciences and current College of Arts and Sciences: 1. OCNG 252: Oceanography lab (Spring 2020, Spring 2021); 2. GEOS 405: Environmental Sciences capstone research class (Fall 2020); 3. GEOS 470: Data Analysis Methods in Geosciences (Fall 2021, Spring 2022); 4. OCNG 310: Physical Oceanography (Fall 2022)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Responsibilities included teaching a diverse array of materials and skills (e.g. oceanography, statistics, MATLAB programming), assisting students with projects and writing, and grading and providing extensive feedback on exams, written projects, MATLAB code, and homework assignments. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~During this time I taught both in person and via zoom during the COVID-19 isolation period and oversaw one asynchronous online lab.
