Current• Responsible for ensuring adequate item stock to meet customers’ needs. Gathers data from multiple vendors as well as understanding internal inventory positions to determine items and quantities to purchase. Creates and manages over 50% of company’s purchase orders.• Served as project lead in creating an inventory replenishment methodology and converting item data into a new materials requirements planning system. Outcomes included improved inventory levels and a reduction in stock outs and stale inventories. • Responsible for calculating and updating Preferred Stock Levels based on forecasted and prior sales for PUPCO brands and a recent acquisition.• Responsible for training new employees on NetSuite and PUPCO products. • Identified an opportunity to improve order process efficiency. Developed a VBA application that analyzes inventory and demand positions to determine items and quantities to order. The created items are matched with preferred vendors and vendor specific RFQs are created and rendered as Outlook objects for submission. This automation reduced processing time by 90%. • Analyzed the inventory process. Developed a VBA application to analyze large and disparate data sets and render insights on item inventory position and recommended item quantities needed to maintain a healthy stock level. Use of application improved item fill rate. • Automated reports for senior management using Python scripts and VBA. These reports track key metrics of business functions and inventory fill rates and publish reports via email.• Served as an acquisition integration team member. Developed processes and programs that successfully integrated a new acquisition’s data into PUPCO’s ERP system. • Designed and developed custom dashboards in Power BI to present data in an intuitive way to stakeholders so they can make more data driven decisions.
