I am a 2018 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. Through my studies I have gained experience in fieldwork that involves geologic mapping, groundwater and stream sampling, and structural analysis of rock outcrops. I also have had school experience with geophysical surveys and using GIS to create maps through combining field data and aerial photographs. As a student, I was proud to receive the HOPE scholarship. I have worked most recently as a student bus operator at UGA Transit, a staff 1 geologist/technician for United Consulting, and now a naval officer. My work experience has helped build my skills with customer service, communication, following safety guidelines, professional writing, working as part of a team, training, soils testing, concrete testing, and recruiting.
