Main duties are to install new fibre optic internet to customers properties via the overhead and underground City fibre network. Cabling and installation of fibre optic cables (FTTH). Test rod and roping. Pole climbing. Installation of blow fibre tubing with garden works such as splicing gardens and cutting through tarmac and concrete. When using the underground network, we Blow the fibre from the property to the cab unit using fibre blowing technology for it to be spliced into the cab joint.
