Computer architecture and design is my passion. I love to learn about the workings and applications of computer hardware and software. I want to use my skills and knowledge to develop the technology of the future.My greatest strength is the application of knowledge. I learn and understand any material very quickly and can easily use this to apply practical solutions to problems. I work well in teams or alone and can adapt to a variety of environments and workloads.My journey in computer architecture began when I built my first computer when I was twelve years old. Since then I've been obsessed with how we "taught rocks how to think" so to speak. In high school, I learned how to program in Python and Java, but I always wanted to go deeper.At NCSU, I've gotten to explore further into this world. I've since learned how to write code on bare metal in the embedded systems classes here, and I'm learning how to optimize processor architectures in the computer architecture courses. I started working as a teaching assistant for the Intro to Embedded Systems class to share what I learned, as well as get some more background knowledge of the course.I'm excited to apply everything I've learned to help build tomorrow's technology.
