I graduated from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2023 and passed the Kentucky Bar Examination in February 2024. I passed the USPTO registration examination in 2023, registration #81,971.My interest in patents stems from my background in chemistry as well as an aptitude for electrical circuit design and manufacture of printed circuit boards. In addition to a standard patents course, I participated in two semesters of practical patent courses at UNH where I wrote claims, participated in inventor interviews, and responded to office actions in a simulated environment. These classes inspired me to study for, and pass, the USPTO registration examination. Outside of school, I have conducted patentability searches and discussed patent strategy, as well as drafted patent applications for a client here in Louisville. I am now eager to use my chemistry background, working knowledge of semiconductors and electrical circuit design, and patent experience in and out of school to work as an advocate for clients.I have been able to attend UNH Franklin Pierce while working full time for Michelin North America. During my eight-year tenure at a Michelin industrial plant, I have worked both as a laboratory chemist and as a logistics planner on the supply chain team. As a laboratory chemist, I gained experience implementing testing methodology and learning the intricacies of polymer chemistry. As part of the supply chain team, I communicate effectively as a liaison between all stages of the supply chain, from truck drivers to global supply chain managers to the final client. I am excited about transitioning to a career in patent law.Outside of work I volunteer at my church, Calvary Christian Center, where I serve as a children's teacher with my wife, Raquel. I enjoy soldering and electrical design, playing tuba, and origami.
