As a QA Sampler I was responsible for receiving raw materials and finished good and then checking for compliance with company policy. Samples would also be sent to the QC lab for testing. This position was in a warehouse environment and required forklift certification to move pallets of materials for unloading, sampling, and storage.

As a QC chemist 1 I performed a variety of tasks ranging from analytical testing to clerical task. I performed sample and solution prep in advance of planned testing. Analytical testing I was assigned included titrations and UV methods. I reviewed other analyst data for compliance with GMP and SOP practices and would input data in a LIMS system. I performed research into new test methods for compatibility with existing and planned product types. I also trained interns on day-to-day, monthly, and yearly tasks.
