Human Resources Shared Services Support Representative

Human Resources Intern. During my time at NCR Atleos, I have worked with many teams to conduct several projects:Assisted Global Leadership Team in creating a Leadership Development Framework for developing leaders.Partnered alongside Talent Acquisition team to create data tables for better understanding of NCR Atleos’s recruitment and turnover.Worked with Communications and Leadership teams in creating “Mid-Year Review” presentations that were shown globally to 20,000 employees.

As an intern I work with the University of North Georgia Human Resources offices both in Dahlonega and Gainesville. My time at my internship has varied widely based on what was needed from me. My day to day consisted of :Sitting in and being involved in many meetings such as Administrative Assistant meetings, Training and Development meetings, and Project and Event Planning meetings. Developing a 12-month project and event calendar for the UNG well-being program including key goals and focuses for each month. Researching and developing strategies for making aforementioned calendar. Researching and developing strategies to revamp UNG’s websites and links to make them more user friendly. Developing my knowledge and skill in Microsoft Word & Excel to create recognition awards for UNG’s faculty and staff Assisting the HR department in facilitating and hosting several events such as the Benefits and Wellness fairs in Dahlonega, Gainesville, and Oconee as well as the Staff Leadership Development Program for our Faculty. Increasing my knowledge and understanding of Human Resources by having sit down interviews with several professionals within many departments such as Employee Relations, Benefits & Wellness, Training & Development, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Classification, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, etc…

I have worked full time / part-time at Chick-fil-A for over 3 years at three different locations (mainly Commerce) I have helped the team in any position they need me. During my time at Chick-Fil-A I have trained over 50+ team members and have been directly involved in catering success which was a big factor in Chick-fil-A Commerce winning the Symbol of Success Award in 2022.

As an intern I completed safety training and background checks for this government internship . I shadowed DFCS case managers on different visits to various locations including courtrooms and an investigation facility. I contributed to the investigation by going into the field to meet the clients, writing documentation and reports about cases, and calling collateral calls related to the cases. My goal was to make sure the child were in a safe environment and to assess if an environment is suitable for a child. This internship gave me an insight of what the DFCS truly looks like while giving me experience in investigation and documentation.
