I am currently attached to 101 Engineer Regiment which is a specialist Explosive Ordinance Disposal and Search (EOD&S) unit. Over the course of drill nights, weekends and annual deployments I am able to develop fundamental skills and gain qualities required to operate as a Sapper and soldier in the British Army as well as competing in Sport such as Football and Regional Long Distance Running Events. The training is closely linked to the Regiments specialisation being EOD&S and allows Reservists to be mobilised at any point. I thoroughly enjoy my role as a SAPPER and I am passionate about progressing through the rank structure in years to come. Proud to serve.

I am currently based within Birmingham as a 999 Response Officer. Within my experience over the last 3 years I have been able to deal with a vast majority of complex incidents that have required myself to problem solve quickly and dynamically risk assess a situation where in some instances arrests have been required in order to appropriately safeguard an individual.Alongside this I have been able to pass all academic and work based assessments allowing myself to be a fully independent Police Officer of the West Midlands Police.I am currently Public Order Level 2 trained and I am in the demand for various other courses specific to the role of a response Officer such as my blue light driving course and Taser.

As an Officer Cadet within Birmingham’s Under Officer Training Corps, I completed Module Alpha of the basic soldiering syllabus whilst attached to the Royal Fusilers. It developed my skill set a tremendous amount and also allowed me to make friends from all around the UK and a variety of different Universities.
