Designed and implemented new experiments towards the synthetic development of new inorganic materials for charge transport and magnetic applications. Developed a vast knowledge of materials characterization and design. Acquired a working knowledge of laboratory equipment, and state-of-the-art technology. Frequently used fume-hoods, Shlenk lines, NMR, and FT-IR. Frequently worked with anaerobic reaction conditions and handling of pyrophoric materials.Successes:-Developed synthetic routes to unprecedented molecules and characterized them in the solid state-Gained insight towards the research process with an emphasis on organic synthesis-Completed formal presentations in this area of research

Atomic Energy of Canada Limited is a Canadian federal Crown corporation and Canada's largest nuclear science and technology laboratory.My day-to-day activities and responsibilities included:-Gathering required information on drawings, building systems and structures, and categorized them within predetermined databases; the majority of database work was completed on Microsoft Excel -Acquiring first hand knowledge on some of these building systems and structures by participating in field observations and walk-down work -Participating in daily planning meetings and radiation safety courses-Gained insight as to the workings of the configuration management field
