Warrego Highway - Toowoomba Range Remediation

A $55 million project to undertake batter remediation works on a section of the Warrego Highway through the Toowoomba Range, west of Brisbane. Key features of this project include: Construction under high traffic volumes, constrained work corridors & steep terrain.Site Works included a full reconstruction of the highway, through a large cut, significantly increasing the safety of the traveling public traversing the range. Other works include significant bulk earthworks, cutback of steep and rocky batters to a uniform profile, installation of slope stabilisation devices, new drainage structures, pavement reconstruction under traffic and complex traffic management works.

Port Of Brisbane Motorway Upgrade (Stage 2)

The $385 Million PoBM stage 2 upgrade involved the design and construction of a two-lane extension of the Port of Brisbane Motorway from Lindum Road to east of Pritchard Street. The motorway upgrade aims to achieve the following objectives: Maintaining freight efficiency at international levels, Providing reliable continuous availability of access to the port, Providing capacity to cater for trade demand, Providing safe and equitable road access to the port precinct.The scope of the project included bridge construction, road construction including soft and acidic soils, drainage works, complex PUP re-alignments, installation of Intelligent Transport Systems and intersection upgrades.
