At Western Colorado University, I have learned consistency through meeting the expectations of a full-time student all while maintaining a 3.7 grade point average. Many of the classes I have taken have included a main focus on communication skills,sales, analytics and finance all withinthe scope of buisness, an area I have grown extremely experienced in. I have been awarded with the highest achievable rank in the Boy Scouts of America. This decade-long endeavor developed leadership roles and management skills and further established my communication ability as I was given authority over other boys of varying ages. One of the most accomplished instances was a beneficial community project at my local church that I organized, funded, approved, managed, and led to completion. I have collected a vast amount of experience in the fields of marketing, sales, public speaking, and interviewing through an buisness oriented traveling and competing fraternity organization on campus called Pi Sigma Epsilon (PSE).The majority of my experience in the work field has been at a locally owned restaurant in Littleton Colorado called Angie’s. I began at a young age as a dishwasher proving my work ethic and value to the company. After gaining employment elsewhere for a year, they were happy to hire me back as a waiter. This includes dealing with sometimes less than pleasant frustrated customers who leave the restaurant feeling appeased and respected with a lasting positive image of the restaurant. For this job, we as a staff also oftentimes rely on teamwork with each other to succeed in the most efficient way possible. I even practice marketing daily with the customers when particular items need to be sold before they go bad.
