I recently graduated from the University of Redlands with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential, specializing in K-12 School Counseling. Additionally, I recently completed a School Counseling internship at Edison Academy of Differentiated Learning with the Ontario Montclair School District, where I conducted both one on one and group counseling to K-8 students, both academic and personal/social. I worked very closely with families of students, providing personal and both intra-district and community resource guidance. I worked closely with Edison's Counselor and Elementary Administrator on behavior management, and student mentoring, and participated in and conducted SST and COST meetings in order to brainstorm and develop accomodations and modifications to curriculum aimed at supporting student success in the least restrictive environment achievable. Additionally, I was responsible for communicating and managing district and community programs at Edison, and tracking data related to student and family participation in these programs, which included holiday toy drives, free Thanksgiving dinners, free and reduced lunch, school clothing programs, and much more.

Duties include but are not limited to aiding the Executive Director with grant management and documentation, development and implementation of fundraising campaigns, creation and management of a weekly news e-blast to over 2,000 individuals in the Coachella Valley, office management and training, database development and management, managing and accounting for money, and acting as staff liaison to Center Youth programming, which includes but is not limited to suicide prevention programs & leadership summits.

Duties included aiding the Director of Counseling Services with grant documentation, developing HIPAA compliant paperwork to track our clients, development of a HIPAA compliant client database, and serving as the client's first point of contact with the counseling clinic through an initial assessment.
