As general manager of this beautiful Victorian converted pub/hotel it was my responsibility for the day to day running for the pub/hotel and be fully accountable for the financial side of the business.Being a general manager is fun, but you have to be organised. there is quite often a multiple of things happening at once all with a degree of importance, where you need to make sure you are ready for it and know how to handle the pressure of it. Duties included- Managing a medium sized team front and back of house including rota- Sole responsibility for p&l for the site.- Adhering, and maintaining full health and safety records during a very challenging time.- communicate directly to the directors of the business- expand and surpass customer expectations for the site with employee training, connecting with the local communities such as local schools.

OPENING A NEW SITE!!this exciting opportunity gave me the chance to open a brand new sports bar in Crystal Palace from an empty shell.This has been my toughest challenge to date in my career but also the challenge where I have learnt most. From interior design, to hiring the team, organising payments sense, and installing CCTV this role really covered it all. Organisation!! this was when I learnt that I needed to be organised for everything that I do im my work role because if one thing is out of place it snowballs and can cause major issues later down the line.

My first general manager position. I was truly grateful to be given the chance to become a general manager and the relocation to South London did not deter me at all.As a young fresh General manager I needed and got quite alot of support from directors, they guided me and coached me to become a better manager in the long run.Being a 500 year old converted mill this site really did cause some issues over time, but all helped me develop into the manager I am today.

As a manager at The Old Bridge Huntingdon, my role as Restaurant manager was to over see the day to day running of the 'AA 2 Rosset' Restaurant. Attention to detail was paramount in this role, and it was here when I feel in love with the hospitality industry.Duties include- Small team to manage and create rota for- responsibile for the day to day running of the restaurant within the 26 room private hotel.- set and maintain extremely high levels of customer service to all clients.- build and expand customer relationships to frequent and local customers.
