Over the past 4 and half years, I have been doing freelance photography and videography for local brands, artists and organizations. Mainly, the work I do consists of music videos, interviews and corporate marketing materials. Usually, I tend to work in all aspects of production from planning to post, but there are times where I'm collaborating with other creatives. The equipment I use is a Sony A7ii SLR with various lenses along with lighting and diffuser kits. I also have experience using RED Cameras and the Black Magic 6k. Regarding post production, I am advanced in Adobe products such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom and Photoshop.

At Taylor and Pond, as a video production specialist I'm responsible for making video content for a certain number of clients every month. This includes all phases production from conceptualizing, to shooting, editing and presenting the final video assets. Along with these tasks I have had the opportunity to direct shoots that involved models and a human element. Most of the time the client is present during these types of shoots. Being able to collaborate and communicate with client while set is essential. On bigger commercial shoots I've also had the opportunity to be director and director of photography.

At MACSD, I did some volunteer work and helped on a couple of projects they had going on at the time. The first project I helped on was a dance film for Peter Kalivas and the PGK Dance Project. My main role was to be the Behind the Scenes Photographer, while also acting as a Production Assistant. On each day of shooting I helped setup lighting. The equipment consisted of Aperture Lights, diffusers on Scrim Jim Stands and cable management. Also on the first day, I operated the clapperboard and took notes from each camera operator after each take. The second project I helped on was for the San Diego Junior Achievement Center. MACSD was hired to produce a short commercial to promote the organization. On this project, I acted as a B-Roll camera operator and was tasked with getting footage of the facility while interviews were taking place. I also helped set up lighting for the interviews, consisting of similar equipment that was mentioned before. Skills required for this position:- Ability to quickly absorb mass amounts of new skills and information quickly- Knowledge regarding on set etiquette and vocabulary- Proficient communication skills

At this position, my main job tasks were to produce all media for the Aztec Recreation social media accounts, website, and any marketing campaigns that were put together by the marketing coordinator. An average work day consisted of directing photo and video shoots to market fitness classes and university events. I played a part in all aspects of production, ranging from constructing storyboards and shortlists, to using Adobe products to edit and finalize projects. Skills required for this position:- Advanced experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop- Advanced experience using DSLR cameras and gimbals- Ability to direct video and photo sets- Basic knowledge on how to control and manipulate lighting- Ability to complete projects and tasks with little to no supervision
