My name is Jacob Strawn, and I am currently a Junior at the University of Colorado Boulder in the Leeds School of Business. I am pursuing an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. I graduated from Mountain Vista High School in 2022. My hobbies include golf, investing, reading, hockey, and spending time with my family.Growing up, my father instilled in me the importance of volunteer work, and I have been involved in volunteer groups such as Pack to School and Invest-In-Kids (IIK).I consider myself personable and have never had any trouble holding conversations or making new friends in new situations. This skill has helped me develop connections with other students and adults, which could potentially lead to future internships.I am a natural leader and work well in team settings. I am also very passionate and not afraid of any challenge or opportunity that comes my way. As a business major, I am fascinated by how the industry works with the economy to keep it running. I am interested in putting my studies to good use and securing an internship or job in the future.
