My academic career has allowed me to work in a variety of settings, solving a diverse range of problems. I have applied my knowledge in the real world, doing everything from creating and quality controlling data to facilitating student learning in a laboratory. Recently, I completed my thesis "A Climatology of Quasi-Linear Convective Systems in the U.S.," which required me to apply a high level of scientific rigor, patience, and dedication. I am always learning new skills to be successful, because my job is ever-changing. Whether I'm honing my GIS and critical thinking skills, or mastering public speaking, I'm constantly pushing myself to be better.
