Responsibilities include but are not limited to equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful in a law enforcement career, providing objective and subjective feedback regarding student performance, instructing from curriculum designed by the WI Department of Justice.

Provide safety and security to the city of Green Bay. Duties include enforcing laws and ordinances, investigating and documenting crimes and traffic accidents, assisting victims, testifying in court, assisting motorists, and responding to a variety of emergencies. Display a proactive style of policing by showing presence in the community, and developing a bond between the department and citizens of Green Bay. Train officers pursuant to WI DOJ curriculum, and train new officers in the field training program.
