• Working in the Public Finance division, I supported Relationship Managers as they closed deals with government owned entities and aided Underwriters in analyzing and updating the financial information of our clients:
• Prepared a term sheet for a bond issuance deal PNC completed with North Carolina Central University
• Created an Excel workbook that analyzed the present value of a basis point to help Relationship Managers consider the risk and reward of potentially increasing their credit spread
• Performed periodic reviews on various clients to ensure their financials were still strong enough to handle the level of debt they were issuing
• Researched and presented my findings to the entire Public Finance team on the laws surrounding the Board of Governors ability to allocate money to entities below it for paying off potential debt PNC would help issue

• The Operations Department supports all functions of the organization through the processing of premiums, claims, and data files. I was directly involved in assuring the smooth loading and processing of data through.
• Analyzed the root cause of errors that occurred when clients reported files are loaded into SCOR’s data systems
• Served on a team that fixed over 22,000 errors which prevented automated decision making within the systems
• Created tools, Excel templates, and processes to more efficiently analyze error causes for faster correction
• Closed over 400 claims that could not pass through the administration system due to the errors in reporting

• Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer of the company for the summers of 2016 and 2017, I was directly involved in a number of projects supporting the finance, accounting, marketing, and purchasing.
• Researched and detailed the prices which competitors sell their menu items in order to support more competitive pricing or positioning of Firebird’s offerings within certain geographic locations
• Created a profitability analysis to assess the current menu in comparison to a projected new menu for a certain location in order to determine which would generate higher revenues
• Evaluated the opportunity cost of closing a certain location during the lunch period and researched the overall profitability compared to the operating costs associated with remaining open the entire day
• Compiled a list of the top 100 metropolitan areas in the United States to depict where current Firebirds locations are and determine the top tier cities optimal for expansion
• Created a “Menu Mix” to help compare sales during certain periods to those of previous years, allowing for better timing and utilization of promotions to smooth seasonal variations as well as guide purchasing decisions
