Jacob Chandler is a jazz pianist, DJ, electronic music producer, and student at the University of Miami's Frost School of Music. Jacob started Jazz piano in high school, taking his high school's Jazz Band class 5 times and performing concerts three times a semester. He was also a passionate member of his high school's Instrumental Conservatory for three years, developing his musical skills and collaborating with other musicians regardless of the style. Jacob also has a passion for DJing, which he started in January of 2023 when he taught himself how to mix. He then started a job position at Benjamin Asher Productions working as a Disc Jockey. During gigs, he would frequently be in charge of the mood of the party, and was responsible for keeping guests on the floor, dancing, and satisfied. Finally, Jacob is very passionate about digital music production. With three years of experience producing genres such as house, trap, edm, dubstep, pop, drum 'n bass, and more. Jacob has produced songs for rappers such as Sanmana; one such song entitled "Stronger" has amassed almost 20,000 streams on Spotify.Jacob aspires to work for a record label in the A&R or Marketing department, while also ghost producing for pop/dance music and continuing to play jazz piano in the live setting. Jacob is a passionate, determined musician and entrepreneur who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals.
