For The Reserve Components (Rc) Division

Assist with development and transition of new document repository system utilizing WCF, .Net 4.5 and Asynchronous processes among other technologies. Reviewed current document repository solution to both understand current requirements and optimize system for performance, stability and error logging. Reviewed web services and database to include stored procedure composition, indexes and more.Converted/automated file transfer solution to utilize SSH File Transfer Protocol with full FIPS Compliance. Created universal web service testing application. Created custom application for load testing of the document repository solution, and analyzing load test results.

For The Medical Operational Data System (Mods) Division

Developer for the army’s electronic medical profiling solution (eProfile), which is used to record and approve medical information for more than 1 million members.Create, implement and test technical solutions for all new development on eProfile using asp.net web forms with java script and JSON, C#.net and TSQL. Assist in conjunction with other team members to debug, solve and implement solutions to existing issues and bugs in the system, which included code in VB .net as well as C#.net and other technologies mentioned above. Coordinate development efforts with other developers to successfully meet deadlines as needed. Review other developer’s code to ensure best solutions are implemented. Review database objects and modify stored procedures views and tables to optimize performance of the system. Assist team lead with deployments to production. Assist requirements manager with identifying and decomposing of requirements.Often requested and volunteer to assist other teams in development of MODS systems to include MEDPROS Web Reporting (MEDPROS), MEDPROS Web Data Entry (MWDE) and Medical Health Assessment (MHA). Serve as backup team lead for EMS and ARTs.

Maintained critical systems for the Check Again business unit which included production databases and two Oracle back up database servers. Ensured replication occurred daily to the two backup database servers. Helped with design and testing of new Check Again website, that included creating and configuring the development database. Created and modified SQL procedures used to generate daily and monthly reports. Created and modified DOS batch jobs for tasks such as running SQL statements, encrypting the output, and transmitting via FTP. Automated daily archival of data to keep critical systems from running out of storage. Created, reviewed and sent files to banks that moved an excess of $300,000 daily for the company and all their clients. Responsible for maintaining data reliability in the event a system or user error occurred.

Assisted with the day to day tasks in the Operations team for the following web based financial applications IMCOM Online (IMCOM), NGB Online (NGB) and Army Resource Management Tools (RMT), this included resolving issues presented via help desk ticketing system. Maintained and applied updates to staging and test environments. Updated documentation for these servers as well as various processes for compliance with CMMI level 3. Performed weekly ETL processes on data received from external systems. Conducted peer review of PSQL scripts and Procedures. Implemented Configuration Management processes on deployment packages to ensure proper deployment to test, stage and production systems.
