I am currently a student in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. I am majoring in Applied Economics and Management and am planning to concentrate in strategy and business analytics. I am pursuing a career in management consulting. Through my academic, extracurricular, and professional experiences, I have developed the following transferable skills:Communication Skills: Through taking classes like Oral Communication and Management Communication, I have developed the ability to communicate in a professional manner. Giving a variety of both impromptu and prepared speeches in addition to completing many written assignments have helped me to sharpen my written and verbal delivery to large and small audiences.Problem-Solving Skills: Seeing many different cases by taking classes like Business Management and Organization and participating as an active business analyst in TAMID Group at Cornell has truly helped me to gain the problem-solving skills necessary to be a consultant. Doing weekly case assignments and working in conjunction with real startup companies have given me the opportunity to critically think through many different problems.Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills: Through my involvement in various organizations in high school and my experience working at West Hills Day Camp, I have a lot of background working with various groups of peopleI have a passion for expanding my knowledge about business and consulting and I look forward to taking on new challenges in the future.
