At the start of the 2024 NCAA Baseball Season, I took over as the Head of Analytics, R&D, and Data Integration for the Rice Baseball team. In this role, I oversee all data processing, long-term projects, and statistical modeling for the team. Alongside my prior responsibilities, I also am in charge of:-Building statistical models to evaluate and predict hitting and pitching performance at the college level-Working with coaching staff to ensure they have access to all data and information they desire for game preparation, advance scouting, player development, and player evaluation-Designing, updating, and running Trackman reports to recap games, practices, and scrimmages-Maintaining our AWS Database and Github repositories to ensure data and code is accessible to members of the team who need it

I was promoted to be one of the team leads at the start of the 2023 NCAA Baseball Season. My additional responsibilities in this role include:-Compiling and analyzing data to create detailed performance evaluations for our own players-Creating detailed scouting reports on upcoming opponents, which involves compiling video, statistics, and tendencies of opposing players-Training new members of the team on how to compile scouting reports and operate technology

Member of the Rice Baseball Analytics Team, collaborating with 8-10 undergraduate students to provide useful information to the Rice Owls Coaching Staff.-Responsible for setting up and operating cameras and tracking data during bullpen sessions, practices, scrimmages, and games.-Utilize advanced technologies including Trackman, Rapsodo, Edgertronic cameras, BATS, TruMedia, Synergy Sports, and Driveline TRAQ to enhance game strategies and player development.-Upload, edit, sort, and compile video for use by players and coaches after all team events.

-Built, enhanced, and maintained data portals by implementing new features and fixing critical bugs in R Shiny apps, improving data accessibility and usability for player development-Developed predictive models to analyze industry behavior in the draft and free agent market, helping improve efficiency and optimize strategic decisions-Collaborated with leadership including senior directors and members of the coaching staff to fulfill data requests and integrate feedback into various projects and internal tools-Conducted research and analysis to develop detailed player evaluations and strategic suggestions leading up to the trade deadline and upcoming offseason

At the end of the 2023 season, I was elevated to Director of Baseball Operations for the Harbor Hawks. I play a pivotal role in building the roster for the 2024 summer season in addition to many of my prior responsibilities.

During the 2023 Cape Cod Baseball League season, I had the opportunity to intern with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks. Some of my key responsibilities include:-Assisting the General Manager in making daily decisions regarding roster management.-Collaborating with college coaches and our team's staff to identify available players for recruitment.-Conducting data and video analysis to produce comprehensive scouting reports on opposing teams.-Utilizing R and Python to build Trackman reports, enabling players and coaches to analyze performance data.-Utilizing R to create models and simulations of the Cape League's run environment for practical application by the team.Prior to the season, I played a vital role in:-Identifying potential players for recruitment and providing comprehensive data, statistics, scouting reports, and other relevant information to the General Manager.-Developing a web scraper to automate the compilation of NCAA statistics for our signed players, enabling easy access and review by the front office and coaching staff.

-Coach a competitive travel baseball team for an entire spring and summer season, providing individualized and team-wide instruction to help players ages 8-14 develop their skills -Book fields, obtain umpires, schedule practices, and communicate schedule info to team and parents throughout the summer-Plan activities, ensure player safety, and provide instruction for as many as 150 kids at weekly summer camps and skills clinics throughout the year-Based on my success and reputation as an assistant coach, I was selected to become the youngest head coach in the entire organization for the 2022 summer season

-Worked closely with the Kasten Wealth Management team to research stocks, alternative securities, and other areas of interest to the team's advisors-Used data from Factset to analyze the historical performance of an ETF portfolio under specific rebalancing rules-Built a complete investment portfolio including stocks, bonds, ETFs, and a 529 plan for a mock client after conducting a prospecting session and meeting with several wealth advisors

-Managed a team of 13 Little League Baseball umpires ages 13-18 -Trained umpires before the season to ensure they understood league rules and their own role-Assigned umpires to games during the season, tracking schedules and earnings-Helped plan and run the first GBA Home Run Derby for middle school players in May 2021

-Organized and played for a summer club baseball team throughout high school-Communicate logistical information about games, carpools, registration, uniforms, etc. to teammates-Set batting orders and defensive alignments during games to maximize team success-Recruit new players and substitutes to play for the team when needed

-Officiate local youth soccer games after attending annual training session-Responsible for ensuring games are safe and fair for players
