I have finished pursuing my master’s degree in International Security from George Mason University, where I have improved my research, writing, and analytical skills through specialized assignments on current security challenges facing the United States and the world. My career goal is to leverage my education and skills in a position that addresses some of the nation's most challenging national security issues. I am passionate about making a difference, dedicated to providing superior service, and appreciate the value of relationships and effective communication. I am willing to obtain and maintain a clearance of any level.As a rowing coach for multiple highly competitive programs, I lead instruction and coaching of new rowers in the basics of the sport, designing and executing daily and seasonal training plans to maximize fitness and competition performance. I enjoy working with diverse teams and helping them achieve their goals and potential. I have also gained valuable leadership, organizational, and public speaking skills through my experience as a substitute teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools and a novice women’s rowing coach at West Springfield High School Crew.
