Supported the commissioning and systems operations teams to develop strategies for the UK Advanced Boiling Water Reactor at Wylfa Newydd. I developed the outage programme and schedule, long range plan for maintenance and fuel receipt strategy. I was also lead technical reviewer and verifier of a number of engineering programmes and client technical specifications. In addition I acted as the Nuclear Material Accountancy manager using ENMAS to track nuclear material onsite and as the Operations representative on the Condition Report screening committee.Additional roles:- One of 8 engineers selected for the Horizon Pathfinder programme to train new reactor operators in Japan- Operations Interface for Safeguards- Operations Interface for PSA

I was responsible for assessing the hazard posed by tsunamis and seismic activity to Horizons new build. The final topic hazard report informed the construction safety case and formed the core of my dissertation thesis in completion of my MSc. Awarded the Fremlin Prize for highest dissertation mark of the course.While on the Horizon Graduate Development Program I undertook two rotations with the Site Development & Operations teams and an external secondment to the Magnox Station at Wylfa where I worked in the Shift Operations & Reactor Physics departments. My final rotation was in the Operations and Commissioning team at Horizon where I developed the training requirements for Commissioning staff and developed and presented a series of training modules on the ABWR Systems.During this time I was also involved with chairing the Graduate Forum and organising development opootunities for the graduates.

Oversaw and managed the Commissioning for £2 million refurbishment of an ATEX rated laboratory and testing range. Developed the department resource model for the next year's staffing requirement.Co-founded the UK Nuclear Commissioning Excellence Forum and acted as secretariat.
