I'm a self-motivated student in my second year studying Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the Auckland University of Technology in Mechatronics Engineering with a minor in Networks and Cybersecurity. I have a lot of experience in programming and robotics applications from all the projects I have done in my spare time and for school. I am great at working in a team and working through tight time constraints effectively due to my time in previous employments.I have been programming since I was in primary school. More specifically I started out making games in Scratch in my free time then quickly moved on to making games in Construct 2 for a few years. Then in college, I decided to do computer studies. In my senior years, I started to learn Python, creating fun quizzes and command-line interfaces (CLI). Then in my final year of college, we were tasked to create a fully functional website, this included learning and using HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL, and Flask (python back-end package). Nowadays I have created multiple web applications, CLIs, mathematical/physics solvers, command automation scripts, robotics software, etc.I have always had an interest in robotics at a very young age. I first was introduced to robotics in holiday programs in primary school. These were relatively simple and basic programs but they taught me the basics of programming in robotic applications to complete a physical task in the real world. Then in college, I decided to do robotics. In the robotics class, I used Arduinos and cheap sensors to create my designs for the robots, create my PCBs, and write all our code in Arduino which is based closely on the C++ programming language. I created robots that had to follow lines and do tasks throughout an obstacle course, as well as in the final year attempting to create a drone from scratch without the use of a flight controller. I did not manage to finish the PID (proportional, integral, differential) stabilisation system, but I intend to complete it soon.
