I am currently a Senior Supply Chain & Operations Management major at Miami University graduating in Spring of 2024. As a student at Miami’s Farmer School of Business, I have gained countless insights and skills that can translate directly to my future in the professional world. Through Miami’s First Year Integrated Core, I worked within a team of five to analyze, and work with real key bank business data in order to design and propose a solution to a problem. This experience provided me with communication, coding, and presentation skills all within a professional environment. In various other coursework, I have been able to hone many of my skills, gain countless valuable insights into the business world, and most of all grow immensely as a person.Throughout my most recent work experience both at O-I and Polaris Logistics Group I have grown greatly both as a professional and as a person. While working as a supply planning intern at O-I, I gained knowledge into demand and capacity planning while working directly with world class plants and partners. My time at O-I furthered my knowledge in Microsoft office and gave me invaluable experience working in a large, global company. While working as a Logistics Coordinator Intern at Polaris, I gained massively valuable insights into the transportation industry while working directly as a middleman between customers and carriers. Through this experience, I was able to gain problem-solving, technical, and communication skills all whilst working in a rather face paced environment. If you wish to reach me or any questions, feel free to contact me at loweryjs@miamioh.edu
