Non-profit advocate specializing in policy analysis, development and donor engagement, community organizing, as well as state and federal-level lobbying. I have a strong understanding of the legislative process, with years of experience driving grassroots engagement and working directly with congressional offices and advocacy organizations. Currently, I am working as Development Officer for the Nature Conservancy, where I operate as the initial point of engagement between the public and the organization. I regularly interact with a comprehensive range of people, educating them on the Nature Conservancy's mission and soliciting monthly, recurring donations.Previously, I was the State Policies Manager for the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, where I was responsible for hiring, managing, and training a rotating team of two to four interns. I was the head of NORML's State Policy Department, and was responsible for tracking up to 1,500 pieces of legislation from across the country at any given time. I promoted legislation that aligned with our mission goals, and actively fought against those that did not through engaging with our 300,000+ member list, generating thousands of letters to lawmakers and driving community engagement.
