About Jacob Millican

I have developed strong teaching and leadership skills over the course of guiding such diverse groups as soldiers, stevedores, supercargoes, facility mechanics, warehouse workers, team leads, and student athletes. My focus is on the importance of providing a clear vision of our goals, while facilitating problem solving and teamwork to achieve those goals. I believe cross-training is invaluable, as are engaged and self-directed teams, which is evidenced by my strong history of implementing training programs that increase critical thinking, initiative, and teamwork. Within my emphasis on teamwork, teaching others how to draw out, incorporate, and maximize diverse viewpoints is paramount.
