I assist guests through the check-in process while connecting to guests on a personal level. I work with co-workers to insure the shift moves along smoothly and guests are taken care of. The front desk is the front line of defense for any problems about the hotel or staff. I listen to the guests, empathize with them, apologize, respond to the problem, and notify the guest of the new situation. Between myself and the other front desk associates, we work to ensure guests' stays are great experiences. If a guest does not have a great experience, we work to ensure problem resolutions for the guest and minimizing the negative view the guest has of the hotel. I work diligently to maintain guest security and privacy.I also maintain the onsite marketplace the hotel owns. I order from three companies in order to fill and maintain consistent quality and quantity throughout the week. In order to maximize revenue, I also enter the property transaction system and maintain pricing and item names.
