With over 15 years of experience in education and performance, I have been a Teacher, Assistant Principal, and now Director of Fine Arts and Enrichment at Valor Collegiate Academies, a network of high-performing public charter schools in Nashville, Tennessee. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance/Opera from the University of Kentucky.As an educator, performer, and leader, I am driven by a mission to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and creative workplace and learning environment for all people and voices. I have strong communication, organization, and event planning skills that enable me to lead and support various initiatives, such as professional development, project management, fundraising, relationship building, and conflict resolution. I also have a diverse and extensive background in theatre, drama, directing, producing, and acting, which allows me to bring a dynamic and artistic perspective to any role.
