As a child, Legos were my world. Building big, strong castles and fortresses was a daily activity for me. So it was only natural that I would end up in a career where I could leverage my “block building” skills. Initially this led me to believe I would be best suited for a job in construction or contracting, however my participation in the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses in high school introduced me to the field of engineering and I haven’t looked back. My freshmen year at the University of New Hampshire was spent exploring the civil engineering curriculum. After a few weeks, it became clear to me that I was in the right Major. I enjoyed being able to produce something unique and tangible using my skills and graduated with Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering in 2015. I reached out to Redniss & Mead, Inc. after graduating as I knew they were looking to hire an eager, recent college graduates for a staff engineer position. My specialties include: - AutoCAD program- StormCAD program- Drainage design- Impervious vs. Pervious Coverage - In-Field Hydrologic testing- Site Development- Site Feasibility research- State and Town Regulation guidelines Contact Information: Jacob Bailey: email-j.bailey@rednissmead.com; Phone - (203)-327-0500 x 5150
