• Managed testing for an enterprise mold release using laboratory teams in 3 sites across SC and WA. Authored a test report with enterprise experts, drafted the specification change, and acted as a technical expert during coordination. • Provided direction, oversight, and approval of the technical approach used by the 777X program to qualify a low VOC mold release to comply with stricter environmental regulations. • Manager delegate for 13-engineer team, assisted in resume selection, interviews, and down selection of 2 engineers. Generated training plan and timeline for new 787 chemical engineers.• Defined requirements, developed unit tests, drafted procedural documents, created training courses, and performed validation checks to accredit a new autoclave cure analysis program that provided $700K in labor savings.• Prime corrosion focal for investigations regarding corrosion risks on multiple structural parts.• Provided direction and insight on storage and protection of parts and assemblies as the enterprise specification custodian. Trained and mentored the new custodian. • Enterprise composite skin quality requirements custodian, authorized qualification representative (AQR) for 787. • Lead fuselage part qualifications at international suppliers with cross-functional support teams. • Provided on-site engineering support for 787 repaints with airline customers at external MR&O’s.• Supported engineering disposition of non-conformances across the production system and supply chain.• Exercised Signature Authority to support the global design centers for systems, payloads, structures, and interiors changes.• Coordinated the release of emergent lightning shields across 3 partners to support a regulatory issue impacting delivery. • Awarded 3 meritorious invention awards for software programs developed to expedite and expand data collection used in approving the engineering on 787 detail parts and assemblies, providing $40K in annual labor savings.
