I have been in the Construction industry for 10 years. During this time, I have successfully progressed from a Laborer to a Project Foreman to Assistant Superintendent and now a Superintendent. My current role within Miles-McClellan is:Manage a team of workers, including work schedules, project progress, and resource allocationBuild cost estimates for labor, supplies, materials, and other project costsCollaborate with clients, Project Managers, Project EngineersCoordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliersScheduling and hiring of workers and subcontractorsExecuted a daily log for the job site’s operations, reporting to management as necessarySteered changes in the operation as necessary to best meet construction deadlinesImplement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient My goal is to build long term relationships within Miles-McClellan that will last a lifetime. Continue to grow everyday and always come to work with a positive attitude. One of my strengths is to lead by example. This skill has helped me learn how to manage the different personalities in the workplace.Over the last 10 years I have worked on numerous project including but not limited to Courthouses, Fire stations, police stations, Churches, new low income housing, warehouses, medical facilities, state park work such as cabins, bath houses and splash pads.
