Design and detail Conveyor Equipment and Structures to be used on mines and power stations using Autodesk Inventor & SolidWorks.Attend meetings and site visits with clients to confirm and/ or amend designs. Site visitations for accurate as built drawings for updating and/ or amending designs. Manage certain aspects of tender projects and drawing documentation. Accurately calculate costs for tender and contract projects. Manage junior draughtsmen. Procurement for projects and contracts.

Designing equipment, front-of-house visual proposals, kitchen layouts, design detailing, procurement, fabrication sequencing and installation supervision as well as unique and custom made cooking and serving equipment.

Accurate measuring of sample parts using micrometers, verniers, ball gauges, depth micrometers, radius gauges, thread gauges, shadowgraph and then modeling them in 3D using Solidworks and also keeping application of the part in mind to suggest the appropriate steel type, grade and coating.Using the drawings produced to get quotes from manufacturers overseas and comparing them for the clientMeasuring the newly manufactured parts for quality and control purposeCommunicating with clients and suppliers about the progress of their parts or quotesVisiting clients to build good employee and client relations

Managing the waiters and waitresses, managing the kitchen staff, stocktaking, handling customer complaints and staff complaints, keeping the manager and owner up to date on progress, inspections of the kitchen and serving room, greeting customers, answering phone calls, making bookings and the odd errand to suppliers.
