I specialise in Maths and RWI (Reading, Writing, Inc.) for which I teach a group of up to fifteen students, therefore I am responsible for the progress of a group of primary-age pupils. I organise the classroom and learning resources, along with creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment. Another one of my duties is taking part in extra curriculum activities, such as reading and maths interventions, where I work on a 1-2-1 basis with students who need extra support. Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation, is within y job role, as it ensures the lesson is engaging, whilst still educational. I ensure that I maintain discipline and a positive attitude in the classroom and throughout the school. I work with others teachers to plan and coordinate activities, guaranteeing a good, constructive relationship with my colleagues. I have an enthusiastic approach towards new projects; always keen to attempt original and creative suggestions to further the students learning.
