As a First Nations Woman, I am a very strong & hard worker that truly enjoys camp life & believes in keeping a positive attitude. My passion towards my work was recognized by the ‘Women in Mining’ group & I have volunteered my time for them at the Round-up with the hopes of inspiring others.I work well with a team or with little supervision, am not afraid to take on new tasks to develop new skills & have been known to go that 'extra mile' to help out where ever assistance is needed. This included anything from shoveling snow off of Heli-pads, to monitoring fuel dipsticks when fuel was being transferred into their holding tanks in extremely cold weather (-65). My hope is to find employment with one company that has other projects in other Geographic locations where I could assist & gain new experiences & ultimately continue to work year round (if possible). Working in this industry has impressed upon me a love for travel & seeing new destinations.
