Sharp Memorial Hospital, Radiology dept.• Register and check in outpatients for appointments, as well as walk-in and add on patients in IDX/Centricity Business. • Expedite all forms of communication to proper Imaging modality and/or department staff.• Monitor the Cerner Census Task List and Cerner Request List and process EEG orders, as well as Imaging, Perinatal, and Stat orders. • Ensure all patient orders and documentation is scanned into Synapse for Radiologist dictation• Obtain appropriate documentation and prior exams from outside locations for future outpatient appointments.• Process imaging requests for patients and outside Physician’s offices. • Upload outside images into Synapse for Radiologist dictation. • Call patients to confirm future outpatient appointments and any preparation needed for such appointment. • Assist Radiologists, nurses, clinical and other departmental staff with daily operational needs.• Works with minimal supervision and maintains confidentiality with each patient.• Coordinate after hours care teams for critical patients.• Perform data entry into excel spreadsheets and Synapse.

• Schedule patient specialty appointments, tests, and follow-up appointments as necessary.• Work closely with physicians and technicians for daily operational needs. • Open payment batches daily, process copayments, fees, and past due amounts from patients via cash, check, or credit card. Reconcile cash, check, and credit card payments at the end of the day.
