Lead the Lending administration and Agency operations teams. Managing the administration of NABs positions within Business Lending at an Institutional level and where NAB acts as Agent on syndicated facilities. Coverage includes Australia, UK and Asia regions. Responsible for operational management of the core lending system Loan IQ and limits in excess of $175BN AUD both for NAB and, as Agent, on behalf of lenders within syndicated transactions.

As a result of a restructure of the business, the Agency operations function was split from the business and centralised. Simultaneous the operations function was expanded to include a middle office function with a total of 11 team members. I took leadership of this team. Responsible for the set-up of the middle office function including negotiation of and finalisation of appropriate work to include in the scope of the middle office function. Relocation of the current team and establishment of the new including roles and responsibilities, policies and procedures and workflow. Delivered an 8% productivity saving with the introduction and promotion of Kaizen activities into the team with a major project to eliminate paper based processing in the team.

Performed the role of Agent and/or Security Trustee on 31 Deals. Client base including large corporate, project finance deals, property and industry. Syndicate size to 24 banks. Deal size to AUD1.25bn.

Relocated from Sydney to London to manage a team of 18 administrators throughout an integration period. Portfolio of accounts included facilities of up to Euro 5 Billion with over 300 investors.Worked collaboratively with the integration team within ABN Amro Bank N.V. and the operations area in the Royal Bank of Scotland to plan the integration of accounts and employees. Completed training in Loan IQ, the core system within Royal Bank of Scotland.

Cross Border management of a team of Portfolio Analysts in Collateral based lending. Project Business Lead in the implementation of a new core system, ACBS. This involved successfully facilitating the conversion of approximately $1.2 bn in facilities.
