I am a professional production manager of 25 years experience in the aerospace industry and have focused particularly on the design and manufacture of lightweight low pressure air distribution ducting systems.I am passionate about delivering a quality product on time, in line with customer demand and within a highly regulated, complex production environment. My key knowledge and skills include: financial control; strategic planning and scheduling; KPI monitoring and delivery; Lean Enterprise including 5S / Kaizan events and staff training and personnel develipment.I operate within CAA approvals and BSI quality assurance policies and systems; have achieved the IOSH qualification in Health and Safety and regularly participate and deliver Zero Harm training within the Senior Group.I am committed to regularly participating in Continual Professional Development programmes in a range of business policies and processes including new Syteline operating system, production, personnel management and health and safety.In February 2017 , I changed my position to L&D coordinator for the business , leading a programme to introduce PDP's across the business . Leading the apprenticeship program and work closely with Sharing in Growth with the recent £1 million pound investment, including BIT's and 50 NVQ business wide . We are promoting a learning culture with in BWT , and Currently forging ahead with a 3 year Engineering Apprenticeship Programme.November 2020 Update During this very difficult year , I am working closely with in the HR team ,covering day to day tasks and working closely with our staff . The challenges of Covid 19 have lead to introducing a Covid 19 policy and risk assessments with in our business ...I continue to support our staff on all aspects of HR .
