My name is Jacqueline Lovell I currently hold a Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) from Eastern University. I am currently enrolled at Adelphi University in which I will obtain my Masters in Social Work, May 2017. My concentration is in Childhood and Adolescent Truama. I have experience in working in a Residential Treatment Facility where I am a Clinician to adolescents who are considered "hard to place" and mandated by the courts for mental and behavioral difficulties, most having criminal histories. My past internships involved Foster Care and Truancy through my Bachelor level work. My post graduation goal is to work in the child welfare system working with at risk teens! I build strong rapport with clients through building trust, while providing empathy and compassion! I am always willing to help and assist when needed. Currently I volunteer at an after school program for low income children where I coach basketball. I am always looking for opportunities to volunteer. I will be graduating with my Masters in May and hope to land a job in the field of social work or possibly administration.
