I am a passionate psychologist and mental health advocate committed to helping individuals, especially young adults, prioritize their mental well-being. My journey began with volunteering in organisations focused on youth mental health, which inspired me to scale my impact by founding and hosting the Mental Glow Podcast. Through the podcast, I create a platform for meaningful conversations, work to destigmatize mental health and address a wide range of mental health challenges. In addition to my work with young adults, I have developed a strong interest in maternal health. I work closely with pregnant women in Zanzibar to build resilience during times of crisis and prevent postpartum depression. As a practising counselling psychologist with EMDR Level 1 training, I focus on helping my clients process trauma so they can thrive and reach their fullest potential. I believe that thriving starts with prioritising mental health, and I am dedicated to creating spaces and resources that empower others on their journey to emotional well-being.
