My responsibilities will include representing Total Health Wellness at various scheduled events. I will be performing point of care testing for health screenings to include Cholestech LDX Tests, BP screening, Glucose testing, OMRON Body Fat Analyzing, Flexibility testing, and Step tests all while exuding healthiness and professionalism.

• Overseeing all operations of the patient service center.• Phlebotomy by capillary and venipuncture technique on pediatric to geriatric patients.• Preparing, processing, and ensuring proper specimens requirements for all laboratory testing’s.• Generating computer and handwritten test requisitions• Exercising universal precautions and maintaining OSHA standards within the lab.• performing monthly inventory and maintaining lab supplies.• Customer service and handling billing issues. • Delegating and overseeing all job responsibilities of the medical assistants.• Extensive occupational and workmen’s compensation exposure.• Copying medical records upon requests of law firms, patients, and Dr.’s offices.• Training nurses, and medical assistants in all aspects of phlebotomy.• Assisting with sterile procedures and minor surgeries.• The collection and processing of blood, tissue, and other lab specimens for testing.• Proficient in obtaining patient history and performing vital signs.• Administering daily dressing changes on lacerations and burns as well as instructing patients and family members on proper discharge care.• Suture and staple removal• Respiratory fit testing / pulmonary function testing.• Audiometry testing / Titmus and Ishihara vision testing.• Certified to perform DOT, and NON DOT Breath Alcohol and DOT urine drug screens.• E-Screen internet drug screening / psychemedic forensic hair drug screen collection.• On call for post-accident, random or reasonable suspicion drug screen collection.
