Jacqueline is a registered architect and heritage professional with over twenty years of experience in providing heritage conservation services for a range of commercial, industrial, religious, community, and residential buildings. In her current role as Associate Director at Extent Heritage, Jacqueline leads the Brisbane office and the Built Heritage team servicing historic heritage places and built heritage projects. Jacqueline has extensive experience in the identification and assessment of heritage and character values, complemented by in-depth experience in adaptive design and master planning, heritage strategy, and policy development. These responsibilities demonstrate a profound grasp of heritage management principles and the rigorous application of the methodology outlined in the Australia ICOMOS Burra Charter which is core to her conservation practices and advice.Jacqueline’s recent projects have included the preparation of the heritage paint colours scheme for St Joseph's Nudgee College, collaborating with principal architects m3architecture, awarded the Don Roderick Award for Heritage Architecture (AIA QLD, 2022). Also, as part of the Lat 27 team was awarded the 2022 Queensland Landscape Architecture Award of Excellence for the Toowoomba Regional Landscape and Urban Character Study.Jacqueline has led the team in the preparation of a Heritage Strategy addressing heritage and character across a portfolio of Jubilee Parish properties, providing Conservation Management Plans for the former Sacred Heart Church, Convent and the Marist Brothers Monastery.During her earlier experience, projects have included CMP’s for the four historic Cemeteries in Ipswich, with recent work including heritage advice on the design development of the Ipswich General Cemetery refurbishments with Lat 27. Early experience also includes stone conservation works for Brisbane Parliament House, St Mary’s Church (in Ipswich and in Warwick), and conservation adaptations for Rhossilli House (Ipswich). Providing heritage advice for the Kingscliff Community Hall in NSW led to the National Trust NSW 2019 Heritage Awards Gold Award for Conservation. A Silver Award was also received in the National Trust QLD 2019 Heritage Awards for the Rockhampton City Hall, Reception Hall reinstatement.
