After completing a 12-month co-op placement in the Filling & Packaging Department at Sanofi Pasteur, I realized that I wanted to purse a career within the pharmaceutical industry.Keeping this in mind, I am continuing my studies at the University of Waterloo where I am currently pursuing a PhD in Chemical Engineering. My research focuses on the downstream process development for vaccine and virus-like particle (VLP) production, under Dr. Marc Aucoin’s supervision. My goal is to one day have a meaningful career that will enable me to significantly contribute to the improvement of pharmaceutical product quality and safety. I am a highly motivated, positive individual, who is continuously looking for new opportunities to learn, fine tune my skills, and broaden my professional network.
