Jacqueline Scheepers (née Allen) obtained her Bing (Civil) engineering degree in 2008 at the University of Johannesburg (Auckland Park Campus). She then obtained her Ming (Civil) engineering degree in 2012 also at the University of Johannesburg, with a thesis entitled Tank Sizing from Rainfall Records for Rainwater Harvesting under Constant Demand. In 2011 Jacqueline was selected to participate in the SKILL programme, funded by The Kingdom of the Netherlands. Through the programme she attended and completed 3 courses that form part of the Master’s Degree in Water Management at the Technical University of Delft. The courses she completed were:• Hydrological Models (95%). This course focused on writing of hydrological models in MATLAB and the interpretation of results obtained from any hydrological model, as well as ways of ensuring the results obtained are as accurate as possible.• Hydrological Measurements (85%)• Ecology and Geomorphology (65%)She started working for SMEC in 2013 and is based in the Johannesburg office.
