-Responsible for understanding and following federal and state agency coverage, CMS, ACHC, FDA regulations and standards, and payor specific billing guidelines,.-Manages and oversees the process for handling, responding, and tracking of internal and external complaints, ensuring alignment with Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) and CMS.-Acts as Business Lead within the Improve Complaints/Feedback Management Project-Provides cross functional support to the reimbursement management, customer experience, global quality, supply chain, warehouse and digital marketing teams as issues arise that cannot e resolved independently. -Develops trainings for cross functional teams regarding complaint handling for the organization-Validates and analyzes complaint data by performing root cause analysis, tracking and trending complaint issues, and ensuring complete investigation is completed and resolution is found if applicable-Presents complaint metrics and department specific root cause analysis to leadership quarterly-Supports business leaders with continuous analysis of our business processes, quantifying and implementing opportunities for performance improvement

Currently, I manage approximately 70-80 surgeries between 2 neurosurgeons. This includes verifying insurance coverage, eligibility and benefits. Request, follow up and secure prior authorizations prior to procedure being preformed. I contact facilities and work with their schedulers to coordinate OR time and schedule surgeries. Manage all hardware reps and other services needed for surgery. I also help to coordinate pre operative testing, cardiac clearances, pre operative radiology testing and at the present time COVID testing. I also work with my manager and other surgery scheduler to create, addend and perfect current workflows by creating better forms and resources for the practice.

As a Medical Receptionist for Dr. Mark Robinson I performed normal front desk duties. Check in and out patients, verified and updated demographics, scheduled follow up and post op appointments according to Dr. Robinson and his PA-C Cole Nielsen's care plans. Faxed, scanned and completed any documents given to me by patients into their electronic medical record. Uploaded radiology exam images for physician's viewing and pulled reports as needed. I also helped manage clinic flow by assisting the Medical Assistant with rooming patients, cleaning and disinfecting rooms and keeping a tidy front desk area. I also was the main contact for the Marrick Medical contract ensuring patients are scheduled and records were uploaded to their system for correct billing documentation and pay outs. I also worked with the billing department within CarePoint as well as Marrick Medical to post billing payments.Other duties preformed as needed.
