I was part of a group of entrepreneurial farmers who developed a special feed that was fish based and elevated the levels of Omega 3’s specifically DHA in the milk naturally while not being broken down in the rumen. We then negotiated with a small dairy in Eastern Ontario to product the product and hired a sales manager to launch the product in the USA.

As part of a group of small dairy farmers looking for access to the dairy market without holding quota, we formed NDEC. We lobbied the Federal Government and the Ontario Provincial Government and the Dairy Farmers of Ontario.
